oh no! It wasn't for a paper. And I guess I just kinda needed headcanons. I'm not going to be using your work, although it is quite nice to see. It all sounds very interesting!

Ooooh XD Hahah. I thought maybe it was for a paper, but that makes sense too! I’m glad you think it is interesting <3 I’ll run around throwing out more of it later on. It’s a ton of information I have to sort out in my head to begin with ;___; Like The Fall. Damn Fall.

so...what is this blog about? I stumbled across it when I was looking for references on how to write about the Void.
Anonymous

Silly Void tags.

This is about my head space. Most refer to things like this as a “Head world” but I prefer Head Space, because it isn’t just one planet or one area, it’s the huge vastness of space, to me. MatterForever is just a sub blog in my huge big blog, MatterIntoTheVoid. (which has various other sub blogs).

I wouldn’t suggest referencing me for your paper :| I would be rather upset and of course ya know, none of this is proven, and it most likely isn’t REAL either. Though it would be pretty kick ass if it was.

Anyway, I hope that explains it.. I tried to narrow it down not to confuse you XD It’s a lot of information. :x Thanks for asking by the way!

Rule of Void Walking

Because obviously there has to be rules when you walk around the Void. You cannot simply stride in and expect to get to the place you want to go. Oh no! It is much more complicated. Some creatures, such as Anthraxian dragons, AnneVangyne Dragons, Dy’Kletiun, Ra’jukai, The Zodiacs, and the Chatters can easily move right through and tend to know where they are going. Dy are exceptionally great at it, seeing as there spirit and soul-self is the Tai’lume, a spirit born of the exploding stars and Dark Matter (and a few are born of Light Matter, but that is for another time). When a creature enters the Void, and generally is “alien” to the Void (in other words it was never born or had never lived in the Void) it is called “”Void Phasing” or “Phasing.” When a creature who has lived, and was born, in the Void enters and moves through it, it is called “Void Traversing”.

The difference between the two is pretty clear. Void Phasing is a “Phase” between the planes of the Void, generally however the creature moves across the planes in a straight line to get where they need to go, they do not take detours and do not see where they are going. Everything is black to them, and usually they cannot stay long, their phase is fast. Fast enough for them to get in and out without becoming frozen. Those who “Traverse” know exactly where they are going no matter what direction they take. They can move in any line or direction they wish and they can withstand the cold very easily. In fact Tai’lume themselves HAVE to go into the Void in order to cool down, as they tend to heat up very quickly when outside of the Void or in the first plane. Reasons for the massive heat surge is also a tale for another time.

Now what happens when the “alien” gets lost in the Void? If they get stuck (which usually only happens if they don’t make that vital curve around the Thirteenth plane, for Oblivion will veer them off course, turn them in an opposite direction and  they can freeze to death, or a Tai stops them to chat) they will tend to merely freeze and they will become simply nothing in the Void. Fodder for the bigger badder creatures who roam the Void. Leo Zodiacs are known to munch on the poor souls. Tai don’t tend to stop critters on their way though, as they understand the importance of surviving. A few minor accidents that occur in the Void is when one takes a Human in, the Human has slim chances of surviving and they tend to never want to go back. Also if not careful the Phaser will merely “splice” itself! It may leave a body part behind in the Void, or leave its very soul and spirit inside the Void.

To the untrained spirit the things that are seen in the Void may ecome tempting. Beautiful strange plants, floating tunnels of water, and strange glowing auras tend to distract and capture the souls of non-Traverses.

In short, the rule of Void Walking, is to never, ever, get distracted.

Matter: An Inside Look

World Building today. Today we are going to take a look at Matter. What it is, how it is constructed, where it comes from, it’s purpose, how it effects things.

What Is Matter?

Matter is the basic most natural state of all beings found on Vryllnithia, with the exception of Annevangyne, Anthraxian, and Humans. Just about every other critter and being on Vryllnithia is composed of some form of Matter. Even certain species of plants are composed of Matter. Matter is a very delicate subject, manifesting like water, it comes in Four states: Gas, Liquid, Plasma and Solid. As a Gas it is breathed in, and it actually composes a lot of the air in Vryllnithia (after The Purge it becomes toxic to Humans who cannot adapt fast enough to it and therefore they all die! MUAHAH!). Seeing as most being can breathe in the Matter and use it properly, it pretty much replaces oxygen, though Oxygen can still be found in Vryllnithia, but only in secluded places and it becomes very hard to find it later. It becomes a rare resource. Matter is most closely related to an atom. It is a life source. If you delved into Vryllnithia’s system far enough and you would find a solid state of Matter manifesting itself inside the planet and always making the planet new and refreshing. The planet is self sustaining due to the Matter coursing through it. However Vryllnithia only has Dark Matter coursing through it.

There are two kinds of Matter, Dark and Light matter. Both types are constructed the same, and work the same, however one is meant for an entirely different purpose.

What Is Matter’s Purpose?

Both Matters have a purpose. Dark Matter is meant to create, to breathe life into the world. Dark Matter has it’s intents and it’s purposes, working in it’s own ways to create. It only destroys if it haves to, and it never has had to destroy anything (usually it’s the beings who can use it’s full potential, i.e. Tai’lume and Dy, other times it’s just creatures destroying each other).

Light Matter is meant to destroy. And it tends to do it very well.  It tries to disable Vryllnithia and Dark Matter by attempting to swallow it all. There’s a theory that states that when Light Matter swallows everything (if it ever does) Dark Matter will swell up in it, causing Light matter to explode and thus recreating the universe once again, scattering Light matter across the different solar systems and leaving Light Matter to regroup itself and recreate this process again. However this is not proven, and if it was all the proof would be gone and the process would start over again.

How Matter Is Constructed

There are four states of Matter, Plasma, Liquid, Gas, and Solid. As a whole Matter is very Amorphous, and usually if you look at one end of Matter it might not be the same say in the middle, or at the very end. So say you start at one point, and say that point is very solid like, as you move in a direction down or up from that point, it may become looking like a liquid, or a plasma, and then as you keep going it could take shape of a gas.

With that said, Matter can usually manifest itself as a creature, mimicking the critter it sees, however it will not have the same attributes as a living creature. They are usually much more monotone and analytically, very calm, and incapable of complex emotion. When they drop this mimicked state, they become their plasma state and then shift through the states until they can get away or manifest themselves again.

Matter is found throughout space, and as a gas it is consumed by beings. Light Matter can be consumed by beings as well, but usually beings are forced to consume the Light Matter as the natural body functions of creatures on Vryll reject or kill Light Matter should it enter the body.

Where Does Matter Come From?

Matter is very mysterious, and no one really knows where it comes from. It is believed however, that there is a planet found in the very center of the Universe that is meant to create and give out nothing but Dark Matter. The nature of the planet is vastly unknown, though it could expected that it is nothing but gas with a central core. White Matter has no known origin.

How Does Matter Effect Things, such as Creatures, Plants, and Planets?

Depending on the nature of the creature, depends on how it effects the creature. A Dy is perfectly fine in a Matter environment, and it can survive just fine. However a human cannot survive, it is not equipped with the needs to survive the Dark or Light Matter.  Dark Matter in itself, seeing as it does not destroy, instead tries to alter Humans. It fails though and Humans tend to die because of it. Plants that are effected by Dark Matter tend to be brighter, more stronger, and glow. Planets feel a positive effect, like Vryll, and can self-sustain themselves so long as Matter is manifesting in the core of the planet.

Light Matter is the opposite in effect. Humans and non-matter induced creatures are turned and take a volatile shift in form and live from it. Light Matter kills plants, it makes them duller, and slowly kills them off. Planets will rot from the inside out, white veins covering it’s surface in the final stages, and then the planet explodes. Creatures who can consume Matter also explode eventually in the same fashion.

The Final Matter

Anti-Matter. Also known as Red Matter.

Red Matter, or Anti-Matter, is dangerous. Far more Dangerous then Light Matter. Whatever it touches becomes a dangerous manifest of your worst nightmares. Syntexis Wraiths even keep away from Red Matter. This Matter is kept locked away int he far recesses of the Universe and is so isolated it cannot create it’s own Void home (such as Dark Matter living and Manifesting in The Void and Light Matter in Devoid). Anti-Matter does not kill, it merely recreates and causes chaos. No one knows where it comes from, or what it’s true intent is, however when affected with Anti-Matter, it is safe to say, there is no hope for you anymore.

Vitarael

Vitarael is a Dy who is housing all three forms of matter within his Tai’lume. His color ranges are black, greys, and reds. Overall Vitarael seems to be the only Dy to house all three matter types and it has effected his complete and overall health. Originally a pure Dark matter Tai, he was tainted by a red matter tongue demon later in his life. After this incident he was attacked by a member of the Fall.

Defeating the fall he was able to crawl away alive, but the encounter left him weak and broken. He tried to find a healer but the massive presence of red and white matter fighting over his body caused all Dy to flee Vitarael to avoid the deadly mix if matters.

Vitarael however survived but because he was not given treatment, he began to suffer side effects and still does. He suffers a severe form of dementia and he lost the ability to decipher the underworld from the rest of the void. His state of being and matter is so corrupt that the only way to cure, free, our get rid of him is to force him to cease completely. This isn’t easy when your are dealing with a massive structure of matter trying to kill not only itself, but nowyou too.

Tongue Demons

Tongue Demons originate in space itself. They like to live in black holes and worm holes are their major form of fast transportation. They don’t have lungs and therefore don’t need to breathe. However they do take on genders, but they can choose what gender they want. Born genderless basically. The size of a Tongue Demon is without real confinement, they tend to be as large as they want.

They feed off of pain and suffering. Eating emotions and negative auras. Usually they steer clear of any planets or life forms. Including each other. They are very solitary. They only go to the physical planet plane if they have to. Otherwise they could care less.

Tongue Demons are creatures of Red Matter and they are usually prey to the more hostile monster of Matter. Dark matter creatures keep away because of the red matter. Dark matter at this time period does not want to consume red matter like it should, spanning the universes life longer for whatever reason they have. Light matter attempts to provoke red matter but usually fails.

Tongue demons don’t really have a form or structure. The largest and strongest of tongue demons have various jaws and tongues protruding through it’s physical space. Some may grow front limbs and Others may take on hind legs. It all depends in preference.

Colors are usually deep rich tones of black and red for tongues. These ones are the most common and feed off the mental Pains of the victim. In fact any red tongue demon feeds off mental pain. Those with discoloration are special cases.
The inverted tongue demon is red with black tongues. This coloration of black tongue indicates that the demonic force feeds off the physical pain of the victim.

Discoloration of the outside, not tongue, Tongues are strictly red or black, or white. Which will be explained, indicates a mix of ability. usually taking on blue, green, purple, Golden, or brown, or any combination, just means that the demon had access to use of multiple other powers, such as void walking, use of electrical phenomenon, fire, water, even gravity.

A white tongued demon basically means that they went through a traumatic experience and one of their functions no longer works properly. For a normal black demon, this could mean that it either cannot access black or worm holes, or that it cannot feed on the proper mental plane. For a red this could mean the same, and for any discoloration this could mean the absence of a special ability.

Finally, tongue demons don’t interfere with the use of matter at all. In fact they are the only species in the entire vastness of space who are not even negatively affected by the red matter. They don’t need to use it unless absolutely necessary, such as being attacked and needing to defend themselves. Tongue demons do reproduce sexually. And once they choose a gender they are not tied to it.

Questions

You were speaking of Red Matter, and I was curious as to if Dy could be made from it? What is its significance?

No, a Dy cannot technically be “made” of Red Matter. Dy are essentially, and completely, Dark Matter Beings, they are made of Dark Matter, and that’s really all that flows through them. They don’t really have blood. They just have a plasma form of Dark Matter. However, Dy are subject to being INFECTED by Red Matter. They can usually fend it off, but sometimes they try to control it. There is a school of Red Matter for Dy, but it’s normally closed off to anyone because of how volatile Red Matter is. A Rage Dy can command Red Matter very well, without practice or knowledge of it. They just can. It’s normally why they tear apart their forms the way they do once they hit that Oblivion State.

Red Matter’s significance is that it is meant to consume the universe. Dark Matter cannot consume the universe, it is much too “good” for that. It created the universe and it cannot consume it. However Red Matter can. Red Matter does not care about the world or the universe, or anything, not even itself, so it gladly eats the universe, and then is consumed by Dark Matter, which is then eaten by Light Matter, and then they all explode because of the immense collection of energy and matter in one place. Creating a “big bang” the universe is recreated and the whole process begins again.

What makes Red Matter so lethal to where it becomes explosive and consuming? Seeing as it’s made up of something entirely (like we’ve seen with Light and Dark Matter), what is its position amongst Vryll and the Matter like universe? Does it have its own planet? What makes it powerful or weak? Any forms it comes in? What are the advantages and disadvantages Red Matter has alone and on another creature?

Here we go!

Red Matter is so lethal because unlike the other two forms of matter, it is not stable. It’s basically “Anti-matter”, it’s the non-matter, it’s the opposite of regular matter. It runs around space consuming things and blowing things to pieces and bits because that is it’s only person. It has nothing to lose. Which makes it’s dangerous. It is so “explosive and consuming” because unlike Dark or Light Matter it doesn’t have a hierarchy or a form of system in ruling government or status.  It’s not technically a system of anarchy or Marshall Law, it’s just there. They don’t work together in a sense, they are not a whole, but once the universe decides “Okay, I’m ready to explode” Which in case the Light and Dark Matter must decide ultimately, Red Matter will swell to it’s immense size, all the bits of it come together, anything infected with it, becomes a pawn, and they go about with their one purpose: Consume the Universe. What Red MAtter is made of? There really isn’t an answer to it. It’s pretty much pure hatred and violence, but in an unknowing blissful form. It simply does not understand anything except destruction.

It’s position, I’m assuming you mean along it’s alignment in good or evil? Red Matter is STRICTLY neutral. It does its job, and it has no other choice BUT to do its job. Light matter wants to use Red Matter to destroy Dark Matter, but Dark Matter does NOT want Red Matter to destroy the universe, therefore it has not, and will not, give permission. Dark Matter feels there is something about this version of the universe that needs to survive. Light Matter does not care, it is always looking for a way to get rid of Dark Matter. When it comes to Vryll and those on it, they both respect and fear the Red Matter. Mostly Fear though. Red Matter is not found on Vryll a lot, but when it is, it does not go unnoticed by the citizens of Vryll and you can tell a significant shift in the way things go. Most everything becomes wary and will be very cautious around everything, because no one really knows what is infected by it. Unless the Red Matter digs in too much and then you can notice. Veins protrude out very bright red, they may take a red-ish tone, and there form becomes very volatile and unbalanced. Their mind also, snaps and they don’t act themselves.

No, Red Matter does not have it’s own Planet. Only Dark Matter has it’s own planet, since it is the general make up of Space itself and it is the most strongest and technically, the engine, of space. White Matter has a star, a giant sun that tends to wander around space, but it never gets far from it’s general spot because it doesn’t like Dark Matter and Dark Matter has a huge influence on everything. Red Matter hangs around space with no home. It spends its time blowing up other creature’s homes. Dark Matter believes that Red Matter just wants a planet of its own, so it goes around trying to infect a planet to form one, but it can’t. It’s too volatile. One of the things Visceral wanted to do, was make a home planet for the Red Matter.

Red Matter doesn’t follow the same rules as other Matter. It isn’t technically “Weak” nor is it “Powerful” it’s just there. If someone said “Oh, you are some weak fetid being” to Red Matter, not only would it not take offense, it wouldn’t care. It just blows shit up all the time. That’s it’s only reason to exist. It can be defeated though, usually sheer will and personal mind strength will snap it down and take care of the problem, but most creatures are not strong enough to rid themselves of the taint, so they seek out help from either Dark, or Light matter, before the infectious Red Matter seeps to far in.

Red Matter comes in many forms. There are more than just Tongue Demons that it inhabits or is. They come in the more natural form of state, which currently is lacking a name. I am still in search of a suitable name to call them for their true and normal sighting state. Tongue Demons are pretty frequent forms, and sometime they will take on a Floof Tard, but those ones are really the ones that are lazy. There are other creatures, but the problem is Red Matter is so shunned that most of the Red Matter creatures don’t live on planets, so they roam around space, such as the Sylefire. They are like a large fish thing that roams around space.

Red Matter has the advantage of not having a conscience. Therefore it’s greatest advantage is that. It just doesn’t give a damn. It does not care the color of your skin, your religion, your species, nothing. It will never feel remorse for destroying you. There is no guilt, no second questioning, and no sympathy. It does not ask itself “Should I let this one live?” Because the answer is “I don’t care. Eat it.” Some disadvantages is that it doesn’t a) have a planet b) have any really friends and c) it is doomed to die. It doesn’t have any purpose but to consume and be consumed by Dark Matter, and then explode. While it can be killed, it usually just has to be over powered by some other being or person, which is pretty hard to do. Humans do not know how to defeat Red Matter. They have tried the tactics they use against Dy, that never works. It just fails.

If Red Matter were to be bonded, or just infused with another creature, it would be different in comparison to being alone. It will take any “weaknesses” of it’s new bonded form. Like the Dark Matter, it will bond to a creature the same way but without the Gear or real substance hold. In fact it’s more like a leech. A parasite. It builds itself into the bones of it’s new host and just lays in wait. Usually it won’t kill the host if the host can keep it under control. If the bonded form is killed or wounded, the Red Matter will be too. The host can “eject” the Red Matter for short periods of time if the Red Matter is wounded. Normally Red Matter will protect its little host from time to time, other times it acts like an ass in the back of the mind criticizing everything. Other ones are a little more calm and will be quiet. For the creature a lot of their attacks can be imbued with the Red Matter if they wish it to be involved.

So to tackle a handle on Tongue Demons, do they hold any morphing abilities? Meaning, can they control over one’s mind and render another’s appearance? Also, does only the pertaining Dy or creature see them or are the visible to anyone around them?

Well aside from their own general shifting form and ability, it really isn’t rare to see them infect another with their red matter and render them amorphous, but usually it doesn’t last. Because Tongue Demons are not the “Pure” or “Real” Red Matter danger, they can’t really use Red Matter like it should be (which is shouldn’t) and if someone were to use too much of a Tongue Demon’s Red Matter to alter their form, they would wind up like a planet. Infected and then… Kaboom! Actually it’s more of just a really big poof as the planet turns to dust

But yes, they could possibly render control and appearance if they were strong enough and had enough Red Matter and enough control of their Red Matter. Sometimes creatures just go berserk and kill themselves.

Anything can see them. Tongue Demons don’t get a special little cloaky thing. In fact Red Matter has no ability in hiding itself from anything. Only Dark Matter can fully hide itself from the world and Tai can as well since they are Dark Matter beings. They can hide or cloak themselves. Light Matter and The Fall can only cloak themselves in a white shroud of gas-like substance and hide their true identity.

So yes anything can see a Tongue Demon or creature of the Red Matter.

Work

Going to work on Devoid tomorrow and get it posted. If you guys want to ask any questions about much of anything that you are interested in or wish to see more, ASK! Don’t be afraid to, I’m more than willing to answer!

Limbo

The space Outside of the Void. Limbo has no structure, it’s just empty vast space. You will find Red Matter around here, swimming around, causing chaos and slipping in and out, weaving through, and trespassing amongst not only The Void, but Devoid as well.

Limbo is empty of planets and space itself is non-existent. It is not like the “space” we know, in fact it is something much more different. Limbo can sustain life, in a sense, you can’t really eat or have your full needed needs, but you can breathe and move. The only problem is the Anti-Matter, which is constantly swallowing everything. Nothing but Tai can really get out of The Void, so Anti, or “Red” Matter cannot really consume anything unless it gets in The Void, or Devoid.

For the most part though, Limbo is pretty harmless since nothing get outside of the Void except for the above stated. Limbo currently is a small expanse of “space” which is stuck in a never ending cycle of growth, and “shrinkage”. It is meant to swallow The Void and Devoid, but it can never swallow Devoid, because Devoid is elusive and much smaller, with the ability to move around and away from the Red Matter force in Limbo.

Huh.. Hi :| Don’t think I know you XD Curiosity compels, why did you reblog my Void stuff? Also, thanks for reblogging it <3 I appreciate it. I’m merely curious.

because i read all of it. & i’m interested in stuff like that. i thought i must be weird & no one else believes in that stuff. but obviously i’m happily wrong [: i like mind boggling stuff like that. keeps me interested. there’s so much more than what we see.

Heeeeeee <333 I’m not going crazy with my ideas. Hahaha. Thanks so much, it’s nice to see people show interest in my ideas.
